Exports, APIs, and managed integrations
On this page
This reference covers managed export and integration boundaries. For the sole instrument-results task guide, use Import instrument results.
Clearline LIMS supports several export and integration patterns. Availability depends on tenant configuration.
Listing Exports#
Some tenant listings may provide an export action when that capability is enabled and verified. The exported file reflects visible filters and selected columns where supported. Use this for operational spreadsheets, client lists, sample queues, or simple reporting.
Report Downloads#
Published COAs can be downloaded from the sample, client, or reports area. Use report history for previously generated reports rather than rebuilding manually.
Instrument Files#
Instrument workflows may include:
On a small screen, scroll the table horizontally to view every column.
| Direction | Example |
|---|---|
| Export to instrument | Worksheet sample list sent to instrument software |
| Import from instrument | Result file loaded into worksheet or sample analyses |
| Manual spreadsheet import | CSV result table uploaded after bench entry |
Instrument imports are format-sensitive. If an instrument vendor updates export columns, contact Clearline Support before using the new file in production.
APIs#
A public customer API is not established by this guide. Treat API access as a tenant-specific integration assessment until Clearline supplies and verifies an exact contract. Clearline manages API access, credentials, and integration design. Do not share API credentials in email or screenshots.
Custom Clearline Exports#
Some tenants include custom dashboard exports such as chain-of-custody workbooks, labels, bench sheets, or client-specific packages. These are documented in tenant-specific SOPs or dashboard notes.
Data Migration and Bulk Export#
For full historical export, migration, or audit extraction, contact Clearline Support. Large exports should be planned so filters, file formats, and chain-of-custody expectations are clear before data is produced.
