Daily lab workflow guides
Use this section when you are doing the work inside Clearline LIMS. The guides follow the normal sample path: receive or register work, assign analyses, prepare worksheets or batches, enter results, review work, generate deliverables, and resolve exceptions.
Your tenant may use different names for queues, statuses, worksheets, reports, or client/project fields. Follow your lab SOP when it is more specific than this guide.

Operational controls to preserve#
- Do not bypass required review or approval steps to rush a report.
- Do not overwrite result values without following your lab's correction procedure.
- Do not change client, method, limit, qualifier, or report defaults unless your role and SOP allow it.
- Do not send a deliverable until sample identifiers, client details, result units, qualifiers, comments, and report template are correct.
When to escalate#
Open a Clearline Support ticket when work is stuck in the wrong status, a required action is not visible, required setup options are missing, an import file is rejected, a report cannot be generated, or output does not match the approved format. Use Get support for the information to include.
