Verification & Publication
Verification is the quality gate before results become publishable.
Verification Rules
| Rule | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Reviewer role required | Prevents unauthorized release |
| Submitted results are reviewed before publication | Supports quality workflow |
| Submitter and verifier may be separated | Supports ISO-style review patterns where configured |
| Retract is available before final release | Allows controlled correction |
Verify Results
- Filter samples to To be Verified.
- Open the sample or worksheet.
- Review results, specifications, QC, attachments, and comments.
- Select analyses or the whole sample.
- Choose Verify.
Retract for Retest or Correction
Use Retract when results are not ready for approval. Add remarks so the analyst knows what to correct or rerun.
Multi-Verification
Some labs require more than one verification step for certain analyses or reports. If enabled, the sample remains in a review state until all required approvals are complete.
Publication
Publishing generates the client-facing report and, if configured, emails it to recipients. Publication should happen only after the report preview has been reviewed.
Invalidation and Amendments
If a mistake is found after publication, follow an invalidation or amended-report process. The goal is traceability: the system should show what was released, what changed, why, and when the client was notified.
