Clearline-Specific Interpretation
Clearline LIMS is customer-facing hosted software. Customers should not use upstream installation instructions as operational procedures. Clearline manages deployment, hosting, upgrades, backups, routing, and tenant-level customization.
Upstream docs sometimes use older names such as Bika, SENAITE, Analysis Request, AR, Client Contact, or COA. Clearline documentation uses plain customer language where possible while preserving terms that appear in the UI.
Demo Validation Note
On June 17, 2026, https://demo.clearlinelims.com/login rendered the Clearline-branded login page and was captured for this documentation. The root URL returned a server error before authentication, and public credentials were not available in local project context. Authenticated examples in this documentation were validated against Clearline/SENAITE tenant behavior and anonymized into representative screenshots.
