By accessing and using Clearline LIMS software and services provided by ClarkTech Media, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Service Description

Clearline LIMS is a cloud-based laboratory information management system designed to help laboratories manage samples, automate reporting, and maintain compliance. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time.

User Accounts

To use Clearline LIMS, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the service for any illegal purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Interfere with or disrupt the service
Upload malicious code or viruses
Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Data Ownership and License

You retain all rights to your laboratory data. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to host, store, and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service. We will not share your data with third parties except as required by law or with your explicit consent.

Payment Terms

Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually as selected. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice. Failure to pay may result in service suspension or termination.

Service Level Agreement

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for our service. In the event of service disruptions, we will work to restore service as quickly as possible. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClarkTech Media shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.

Termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement with 30 days' written notice. Upon termination, you will have 60 days to export your data. We reserve the right to terminate accounts immediately for violations of these terms.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the service. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
